Digital Citizenship can be defined as "the ability to participate in society online". Students and teachers must learn what is safe, legal and ethical behavior, and they must also take personal responsibility for their lifelong online learning.
This session will:
• Define Digital Citizenship
• Access Iowa Core Standards on Technology Literacy/Digital Citizenship
• Review the purpose and some examples of Acceptable Use Policies in a district
• View Nine Themes of Digital Citizenship
• Review Digital Citizenship resources
